RENEWABLE ENERGIES SURVEYING SERVICES
As with Water and Wastewater projects, TRUE NORTH is passionate about working in the Water and Renewable energies fields. This passion is deeply imbedded in TRUE NORTH’s founder, and will be obvious during the proposal, field & office work and finally the deliverables. We have completed a few renewable energies projects in the Colorado area and would love to have an opportunity to provide surveying services on your project. These types of projects vary but usually require a Utility Corridor Survey with mapping or an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey with mapping.

SUB-CONSULTANTS – TRUE NORTH has a strong team of sub-consultants that specialize in certain tasks, which may be required on a renewable energy project. These services include: Construction staking, Aerial mapping, LiDAR airborne mapping, High Definition scanning, underground utility locates, potholing/boreholing and land title documents.
PAST PROJECTS – TRUE NORTH has successfully completed a few Renewable Energy projects in Colorado. One of these projects was a proposed Hydro-Electric Plant in North Central Colorado near Berthoud Colorado, on spillway one at Carter Lake. The design survey encompassed a 3.8 acres parcel of land having a 140 foot elevation difference from the South end to the North end. On this projects our team reestablished 5 control points, set 2 construction control points, tied into 1 government section corner, located property pins, utilities, fences, driveways, and culverts along the project limits. The survey data was used to create 1 foot contours for the final design of a proposed Hydro Plant. As the project manager, Bill Buntrock managed field and office staff and sub consultants to insure quality and attentive service.
